Introduction to Autism and ADHD Thursday 20th February 2020, Hatfield

This workshop is an introduction to those working with children and young people diagnosed with ADHD and or ASD within the community to empower and encourage them to feel confident in supporting those children within their environment.

Main topics will be how Autism and ADHD might present in children in the community
Things to consider when working with children with autism and ADHD. Providing some strategies that could be used.

This workshop will be adapted to suit the needs of those attending as we all know every child is different so if you have anything particular that you would like to get discussed within this workshop please let us know in advance.

There will be lots of opportunities for discussion, problem solving and question and answer. Because children can present so differently and need so many different adaptations.

Angels Support Group will be delivering this workshop who have many years of experience and currently works directly aiming to provide families of children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and /or ADHD with regular, accessible, local, reliable, inclusive, high quality support; to enable them to meet other families facing similar challenges; to give them access to experts and professionals experienced in working with Austistic Spectrum Disorder and ADHD; to lessen the isolation experienced by such families.
